Pier Lighting for Salt Water Environments:
One of the greatest things about living in coastal Alabama is our access to salt water and all of the fun that comes with it. Pier Lighting allows you to enjoy your wharf long after sunset.
I have installed pier lighting in Daphne, Fairhope, Spanish Fort, Gulf Shores and Orange Beach. I enjoy installing pier lighting. I can’t think of a prettier place to work than on the waters of South Alabama.
Salt water is very corrosive so I always use the best possible plastic housings on the pier lights I install. The plastic gives us a few more years than metal.
Pier lighting can include fishing lights too. When bright lights are placed just above the water they attract all sorts of marine life from the smallest of crustaceans to the biggest of speckled trout. It seems that the best time to fish under the lights is after the light has been on for an hour or more. Here in South Alabama, fishing at night can be preferable to fishing under the burning daytime sun.
- No Slider Found.
Having your TV hooked up to cable out on your wharf has become popular. I’ve had a number of calls to run cable from land to the end of a pier so that clients can enjoy the beautiful weather and their favorite TV shows at the same time. I’d be happy to help you with such a project.
